Work 4 Saturday

I think this will be my job 4 tomorrow, splitting what I never finished last year.

 

Yep, that is what I will be doing myself all weekend, splitting wood.

Sunday is suppose to be hot so that might be the day we hit the water for a ride in the boat.

 

Aaaaaaaa. What?

 

No that is what I need. A whole day of relaxation. But not right now. When I get this project done.

 

Get It Before It Rots

 

Zap, same pics from last week? The maple rounds that were there from last year?

 

Yes, we'll see how they're today.

 

Petty much the same plan I have, only oak rounds to split.

 

Since it was going to be hot, I was up at the splitting area at 8:38, just a bunch of pictures of the wood and the leaves, Sugar Maple?

I was very happy with the overall shape the wood is in, a couple of the bigger rounds had some rot in the middle.

I found my wedge underneath one of the bigger rounds.

 

Just like Christmas Sav, just like Christmas. It looked like someone had chewed on it with a chainsaw chain, I think it was Stinny.

 

I am watching a show about the Russian Yeti or Menk! Maybe you have a squatch in your woodlands! Was he chewing on your wedge?

 

When I was up there splitting, I was thinking about you, by the looks of some of the rounds, I was doing some trenching with the 660 last year.

Looking at some radar tonight, it looks like Loon will be getting some storms rolling through.

 

I'm glad I come to mind when gravity gets hold of that ole bar... Now, when I do it, I just think "Pete's gonna love that one" ...
