Had a good 3 days so far. Dodging thunderstorms today, maybe it will break up...oh, good morning brother.

 

Good morning everyone! Brandon Scott, have a fun road trip! I hope Mike and T.Jeff can get some saw time today, I intend to as well, cutting up some chunks of white oak in Dracut ( about a half hour away). There is some red oak closer to home, on some wooded land belonging to a local college, cut down by Asplundh in the past couple weeks. I got a few chunks, maybe I'll pick up some more. I'd like to spend a lot of time making firewood this week, while the ground is bare. There's more snow coming this weekend.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Don't think we will get any wood cut today. Going down to my SIL to get MIL furniture and other stuff. Didnt work out with her living with her daughter, so she is moving back up here in our area. It's about 1 1/2 hrs one way. Then this afternoon, my hunny goes to pick up her new glasses, she will be able to see now.

Good morning everyone! I got some cutting done as well, some oak that I came to realize was pin oak. D'oh! I took some smaller pieces, and will go back today for anything that's straight, but I'm leaving the big chunky crotches. Don't need that kind of aggravation in my life. I'll post pics on the car hoarding thread.
I passed lots of wood on the ground, in yards and woods, but with more snow this weekend, I've got enough to do in my yard before snow shuts me down again.
T.Jeff, you'll have both mothers nearby? Maybe some synergy there?

Gonna go visit the USS Alabama this morning, Then head over to Baton Rouge and have some boudin, Tasso, and andouille. Crawfish if they are in season would also be nice.
