I enjoyed the warm weather while I could. Just got out form the single digit mornings, and looking to go back there middle of the week or so, so this is just an early February thaw (usually get a thaw lat Jan or early Feb before winter comes roaring back).

Nah, great uncle gave it to us for parts a couple years ago. I believe the engine itself is fine but something is broke in the driveshaft region. I'm gonna take it to mom's and scrap it instead of it sitting in the snow any longer

Those leaners over the trails will prolly come back up. If they don’t I will give them a good hug than whack em. I am a tree hugger. I hug every tree before I whack em. We bought this 40 acres in 1982 and since then I have hugged a zillion trees.

I make a great effort to keep my trails open. That way the loggers don’t have to make any new skid roads the next time we do a timber harvest which is going to be in 2022.

I saw 60 degrees at the house today. 65 while out running errands trying to get the Bronco fixed. Hopefully I'll get that done tomorrow

Running around done today. Worked out with my son early. Grocery shopped and picked up some more gas for generator. Cleaned out a few culverts to keep water moving along from all this rain.:picard:Went to one of my daughter’s basketball games. Left my machine off early, and then brought home later, my John Deere 310J at my neighbor’s place. He is retired and did an oil change and another grease job for me. Great guy. Nice that he has a metal building with wood heat plenty big enough to bring it inside. Had a nice grilled steak, potatoes, and salad dinner. Time to bring in a little more firewood before this rain changes to ice. I wish I had done it earlier but it was raining then too. Oh well. Won’t take long with my 15 y.o. son helping me. Hope all you hoarders have a good rest of the weekend. Probably lose power here so I’ll be around when we get it back. (If we lose internet as well.)

Lol. It's snowing pretty good here. 22° now. I took the dogs out for a play session about 2pm. It wasn't nice then and it's only gotten colder, windier, and snowier since then.

Friends of ours are going to Mexico next weekend, they get to get away from it. Well at least until they come back and get slapped in the face by a snow storm. :shiver:

Get it done before what we have here slaps you.

I'm glad I got on the roof yesterday for a quick chimney cap clean out. It was perfectly clear and dry yesterday,c and about 40°. It's all ice and snow with big gusts of wind now.

For sure. I was able to figure a way to get the transmission line bent without kinking it. Just need to cut it to length and put a flare one one end. Might replace the pan while I'm under there too.
