    That’s my favorite thickness. I like to broil mine. I learned it from gramma but that’s what the fancy steakhouses do...

    Just read up on your reverse sear method. Definitely wanna try that for a thick steak. Temp? Time?

    Eh. I'm all set. The wife and I , and the pups will all be ready for it.

    I ran to the store and picked up more beer and wine, I bought in a bunch of firewood, and did a quick midwinter sweep of the SS liner and cap. There was a little crud at the cap. All gooder now.

    I think the solution is to insulate the entire chimney between the lines and the original flue.
    No, not that I'm aware of. We're 100% unified in our support of the Packers. :handshake:
    Now we do have a big nasty snow storm coming tonight though Sunday am. Here's not to get as much snow as us. But that's what the guessers say....

    Ooh. Now the winds are to make this a blizzard. Up to 50 mph winds with all the snow.

    Thor is to get more rain. Hopefully no freezing rain. For us, all snow and all that fluff.

    The guessers are saying Wednesday could again be another storm.


    Just now all of a sudden I got a big headache, and I can feel the pressure change in my ears.

    The pressure from a big weather front does that to me. Ibuprofen taken, and brandy old fashioneds getting ingested.
