    Just looking at the weather radar and it looks like it's snowing Backwoods Savage place at 4:30PM EST...
    What's it doing in your neck o' the woods?

    Hazy sun here. We have been on a temperature roller coaster. It is now 34f. It was almost -10f yesterday morning and it has been warming since. Snow here by mid week followed by high of zero by Wed or Thurs.

    Saying 6-10 over the weekend. Would be the 3rd time this season to get out the snowblower. Last time was Halloween day.

    In the PNW its raining, but, the snow level's dropped from 3500 ft to down to 2500 ft, and supposed to hit the 1,000 ft mark this coming monday, we'll see? Just out of town in the tops of the tree's its all white, and you can see the snow on the ground from town. It's Tough on the loggers, and more dangerous, but, we do need some snow. And, they'll adjust for the higher elevation snow, and move down to a more friendly elevation and hopefully keep working.

    Not yet. But soon.
    It's 49° out now. The temps have been riding all day, even after dark. Tomorrow, 38° for a high, then the snow comes in the evening. Guessers are now saying up to 16" by the time it's done Sunday. We've got no snow on the ground now, except for on the shaded side of big hills, like at my wood lot.

    About 33 here. Can see some of the ice/snow from the other day hanging over the edge of the roof. Don't expect it to last long as I change see it dripping.

    It was. It's gone. Temperature started rising. It was warmer when we went to bed than it had been all day and the day started around 10 degrees. It is now in the high 40's and we're waiting to see what this coming storm will bring. It does not sound good. I received this in an email from our electric company this morning.

    Not only ice forecast but high wind. Imagine even a 1/2" of ice and 40 mph wind...
