Been a while since I fired up a saw.
Cut up a couple of small ones that blew down. Getting punky, but still will burn hot when dry.
Running an old Shindaiwa 500 I bought for parts. It runs fine so I never got round to taking any parts off it.
Previous owner did a repair to the rear handle. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I’ve been looking for something like that but maybe a lil bit bigger. I’ll be trying my logox for sure it’ll pick up the log enough for the saw to get my cuts in. The small trees about 4-6 inches in diameter are common to fall down. They are often discarded as it becomes a bit more work to do than the larger rounds. Just would want to have that hold those smaller diameters enough so that they can be cut without flipping out of the holdster. Had some weird mishaps with oak limbs this summer. It worked to a point but I won’t say I didn’t have close calls with the butt end flying across me with the weight coming undone with the cut.o_O :doh:

Nice looking outfit and wood. Very serviceable repair on that saw!
