All these videos are so much fun to watch. All of you that have had a similar experience with your stoves know the pure satisfaction that one gets when their stove is cranking it out! Cat stove or not doesn't matter. We all enjoy the fruits of our labor. For those that do not know what we are talking about that's OK it's different here and I love it!!

You said it brother. One of the best stress relievers to me. Only thing better is having that fire and studying HIS WORD.

These vids amaze me....the fact that the actual wood doesn't have flames, but the gasses up top are flaming. Does the amount of secondary flames correlate to how long the wood has been in the stove? Like the more recent the wood was put in there, the more gasses it's releasing, therefore more flames up top? And along the same lines, the one video where its flames showing up every few seconds then they go away...does that mean there's less gasses left in the wood by that point?

Man i want one of these newfangled stoves.....

The one with the blue ghost flames, wood had been a long time. Most of the gases had burned off, very efficient burning like that. Usually have more after the wood has charred over and air has been cut back. It is pretty to watch.

My last pic was actually cheating a bit. It’s anthracite coal burning. I just put in a hitzer and have been playing around with it.
