    Yup. Yesterday they were saying 2-4" of snow by Sunday. Now it sounds more like rain, then freezing rain and maybe some mix. No matter how you hack it, that does not sound like fun.

    I well remember back in 1977 when that happened. At the time I had spent the night in a motel in Fremont, which is not that far from Rockford. The next morning was really hard to believe. That storm went across the LP and some people were out of power for a month or more! Fortunately I was able to get out of there within 2 days to head home. Glad to leave that behind.

    I'm heading to Maine for the night shortly. My wife is gonna be pizzed at how warm the house will likely be. I just stuffed the stove full of oak since she wont do it tonight. Oh well!

    Gonna be a cold one here. If the wind would die down it would be helpful. I’m in Rockland right now having lunch about 60 feet from the ocean, she’s rough out there.

    We're supposed to get blasted here Friday night all the way through Saturday. They are saying 6-10+ inches. The local guessers are emphasizing the 10+" range.

    I've got fuel for the snowblower. I will need to do a liquor store run though.... Other than that, it doesn't affect me.

    We'll see rottiman , I'm worried it's jinxed. Took 5 weeks for Toyota to get back window parts and place that did the windshield had problems too. The nice gal at the windshield place said her guys said it was jinxed too :hair:

    It's ready to be picked up as of a couple days ago but we cannot schedule to get me down there, so next week.

    Not too high to climb into, not too low it feels like my buttocks are dragging on asphalt on bumps and I'm not looking at trucks bumpers, gas engine and 4x4. Afraid the excitement has passed. Really hope it works for us. Otherwise it's up for sale, I'll get a different busmobile.
