The Nature's Own are Energex - same product as FSU or Chow, depending on which one the store received. Few years ago these started showing up all over the place and both varieties were seen.

Next time I visit my son... that may have to be a stop.
I go to the Oxford Dunks most of the time on the way to CT.
    How far from there?

I just remember the guy looking at my near empty plate. He was holding a pan of home fries. He looked at me, at my plate, then slid another pile on my plate!

Garbage. My son tried to burn them. I now have 3/4 of a bag in my garage for me to dispose of.

Gotta be honest. That is my favorite part...
And gets the most ratings points from me.
    Slightly ahead of omelets.
3 eggs over easy... doesn't change much from joint to joint.
    Bacon... pretty much the same.
The only creativity, and differences.. are in the homefries..
Give me an awesome load of homefries, and I'm smiling all day.
Give me a kid's portion of good homefries, and I ask
"Are you running low, this morning"?

Yup right out of McDonalds, then at the 4-way intersection, take a left on route 12 and the diner is just there on your right.

I like the homefries the best also, but that happens to be what some really mess up. I was at a Mom and Pops breakfast joint. They served those darned frozen potato patties that are served at Micky D's. My idea of homefries are the shredded kind, or the cooked/baked potatoes cut up in slices or blocks and pan fried in bacon fat with garlic, salt, and pepper. But to honest, my home cooked breakfast comes out the best. No thin brown edges on the eggs, No wet scrambled eggs. No omelettes with brown fried on spots. Fresh toasted bread or English, real Jam. Pancakes with blueberries or apple chucks. Only real maple syrup and real butter. And a nice cup of fresh coffee made with fresh grounds. Sometimes I put some split cherry or grape tomatoes cut in half and warmed up in the same skillet as everything else, put them on the omelette and top with some dill weed. So good.
