Got the OK from the boss to build a wood shed. Gonna be a big'un...48' long +/- and I'm thinking 6' wide.

Spent at little time sketching it up to get a materials list going. Going to have an Amish guy come in and mill some tulip poplar for the roof system and some old telephone poles for the posts.

The local hardware store sells odds and ends steel roofing for dirt cheap. I'll probably pick some of that up and spray it all the same color.

Time for a little sit down break and some caffeine. I buttoned up the camp cellar door and finished the last of the insulation down there. Was getting ready to throw away the scraps from the linoleum job for the main room of the camp that also went into the closet and bathroom. A good bit of linoleum. Nice thick stuff that you just lay down and it pretty much floats there. The flooring guy did glue it down in some spots though because of the size of the room. Anywho, I decided to take a few pieces of the scrap and put them in front of the door in the back bedroom. Then I realized, wow, there is a lot of scraps here and two of them are almost 6 feet wide and long. So I laid out all the scraps I had and holy chit I had enough to cover the whole floor. I moved everything out of that room and then started to cut some of the edges straight. Then just left it overlaying each other by a little and called a guy I know. He is going to come down and lay it all down for me the best he can and trim it and then glue it all down with this new stuff that is suppose to come up fairly easy when you are replacing the floor. Either way, I don't care. I couldn't believe there was enough scraps there to do the whole room! Yaaaaa! It is a pattern that looks like large, differently sized stone. I will snap some pictures of it next time I am down there. Not going to tell the wife though. I will leave it and let her be surprised the next time she comes down. She loves the pattern of it and we did not have the money to do that back room. We were thinking of a laminate like we did the living room but it would cost us another 6-700. Not happening. She is going to love the fact that we have a finished floor on it now! So I had lunch and now I am putting up the plastic panels to enclose the covered porch for the winter. It is time.

Guys, we have not seen any snow yet. But with the temps we are getting at night now it could be anytime. I honestly hope it holds off for a few more weeks. I have some more cleaning up and moving stuff around I would like to do. Moving the wood stash under the porch begins tomorrow. You guys are making me hungry talking about cheese and sausage and ............ Stop that! Now that I have written a short novel I will get back to work. Nice talking to ya. Boy, you guys sure do talk a lot. :emb:

If Jack cooks heuvos rancheros on the wood stove, and no one else is around to see it, did he still eat it?

Dunno. Better to have and not need than to need and not have for some things in life. Woodsheds included.
