My wife would like like a side trip to Frankenmuth for a day since that's pretty close too. It's been many years since we've been there. We'll have to see if we can make it up there this year. Maybe I can talk her into a few apple pies this time... LOL
So I manage a project near Canton Michigan, so i will need to do some googling. I might be able to work there that week.....
Gonna put in for this extra early since I missed last year. Doesn't hurt that I get two extra vacation days this year! Woohoo!
78 people, wow! That sounds awesome, wish I weren't so far. Yep, if buzzsawbrad starts out now, he'll be there about Christmas, lol, what with all the trips back home carrying elm, black gum and sweetgum. The animal, he is!
Hum... Sounds like a plan. Maybe we could even think about a pancake breakfast with some bacon and sausage to compliment it?
One would not go through Detroit. If from the south, think Toledo up to Ann Arbor. Approximately 130 miles. Coming through Canada and Port Huron, we would be about 113 miles from the International Bridge.
Geeze, you must go via airplane! It's almost 100 miles to Ann Arbor from here. Around 50 miles from Flint.
You'd probably be better off going over to 23 and up. Mapquest is great at providing pretty darn accurate distances, routes, and times.
OMG! It's beginning to sound already like we've opened the flood gates! Guess I should work on a larger camping area... We have 2 barns too. lol Ask Eric VW as he set up a tent in one of them last year. Some stretch out on the floor in the house too. Others go to motels or BNB.
