    Good morning everyone! Rain today, so that means housecleaning. Oh well, it will be a change from shovelling... yesterday I ended up chipping all the ice and snow off the back deck.
    I thought I'd better, before it got rained on, froze, and got really hard. I brought some more maple in too.
    Tomorrow will be an extended day with the grandson, my son is playing in a chess tournament this weekend. So, I'll clear the decks and prepare today. We have a big Lego to build tomorrow.
    I switched electric companies, had to, the contract was up with the old one. We have to do this weird dance, switching providers to get low fixed-term promotional rates, then switching again once the promo rate is over. Electric is our biggest bill, especially in the summer with the pool and AC. We'd like to drop cable too, but that will wait until football season is over, and my husband has time to figure out streaming alternatives. While I'm outside, bashing something!
