At least the second one will be easier... Now you know the process... Good luck... unless its bigger in real life... It looks pretty good...

I pull the 4x8 trailer with up to 2 face cords ok it at the time with my old bayou 300. Seems to do that no issue. I'm sure the 550 xp can handle it. I know the IRS isn't as good with tongue weight, but depending how much weight the tongue carries, it might be ok.

Mornin Tim TurboDiesel ... I've been looking at your build pics and read your latest thoughts on shifting gears... selling what you have and building a smaller rig... because an ATV can't haul it. With some changes you've already thought of... maybe making the side rails lower, etc... I'm perty sure you're well within the zone of "a really heavy duty wood hauler" you can tug with an ATV. There are many YouTube examples (you're probably watching many of them too)... here's just one, showing the tug vs. load capability of an ATV in the woods...

Tongue weight shouldn't be a problem. the axle is only off center by a few inches. IIRC 4"

I wish. While it's not mountainous, it's certainly not flat where I haul. There's some pretty steep grades and getting the traction to pull the load up these grades is sometimes not possible.

Going downhill either foward or backward is when the pucker factor kicks in.
