The cutter side broken bolt came out easy enough with some PB Blaster.

I brought it in to work for some help and we got it this far - apart and drilled out but not yet useable.

Given it is reverse thread, I was thinking to just replace the arbor bolt.... well I'm not having much luck finding an M8x1.25 LHM and I see no Kawi P/N for it besides the one in the cutter head. Going to see if that one (at home) will work. If not, may be buying a tap set or continuing my search.

The PTO on the GT is acting up, although not completely broke......yet.
Replaced a sheared off cotter pin on the mower deck lifting arm cable yesterday.

My eye... I apparently have a broken blood vessel or grew an extra red cornea next to the original one.

Broke the CVT drive belt on my Dad's Teryx last week. Took it out back and as soon as I laid into the throttle, she snapped :(

Took today off, so I am putting a new belt on it for him. I broke it.. I buy it (and fix it ;)) Just got the cover back on and remembered this thread.

This is an utter PITA. I will be paying the $175 to change it, if I do it again in the future. This is a half day job.

That definately looks like one of those jobs where having your hat sideways a little (locked position) and your teeth clamped onto your tongue pretty tight... is the only way a guy gets thru that... o_O...

Beer will taste just a little better later...

Lost a set of keys, one to the truck and one to the van. Both have chips. There was something in one of the warrenty to the van that covered that key($260) and the one to the truck got replaced by a locksmith who came to my house. That was after I paid $300 today to fix the front brake lines to the truck. Long time before the first of the month again!

Old lady got her new clothesline today and put it up, and then, for some reason, folded it down when I went to mow. The line was low enough that it caught on the shifting lever of the mower, snapped in half at the ground and whacked me pretty good in the back of the head to boot!

That's the crankshaft tail itself. The clutch threads onto it directly, no bolts.
