Finally beginning to process

    I’m finally beginning to split and stack the wood I’ve cut and left stacked in the woods. Done about a cord and a quarter so far. Some of these trees I’m cleaning up are a little bit doty but there is still plenty of good wood left. Happy New Year and HOARD ON!

    Yes sir. I run 2 rows 12’ long for a cord. I put some perforated (with a pitchfork) plastic under the timbers to act like a vapor barrier. I perforate it so it won’t hold much rain water but it will still keep the wood away from the moist ground. I would see the bottoms of my stacks take longer to season until I started doing this.

    What kind of splitter you using Brad M ??

    Hard to get a good look, but is it "hand pump hydraulic"?
