Madison Packer Backers is a club that owns 59 season tickets at Lambeau. My wife and I were members during the Favre era. Saw a lot of memorable games. Al Harris INT in overtime against the Seahawks. Hasselbach telling 80000 drunk packer fans on the coin flip “we want the ball, we’re gonna score” came over the PA system load and clear. Mr. Favre completing his last pass as a Packer to a NY Giant in NFC title game. That bizarre last game of the year when all of Lambeau was watching the scoreboard tv of the Viking meltdown in Arizona which gave the Pack a playoff bid. Mike Vick running for what seemed 1000 yards in a play off game in the snow. I could go on and on. More good memories than bad for sure
The club treasurer sent us an email Monday saying they had 12 unsold tickets left for Jan 12 game. We took two.

Very nice. I've got a few great memories while at Lambeau as well. I've been to the two hottest games ever at Lambeau, and didn't die despite drinking quite a bit, and the 0-16 lions game with my Dad, the only game he ever got to go to. We're blessed to have friends with the gold package season tickets, 8 of them a few rows up from the opponents bench ... We only pay face value and they have a parking pass on the Lambeau lot too.

Evansville’s family doctor had Packer tickets at the old County Stadium. I remember going to 5 or 6 games there curtesy of old Dr. Gray. My most vivid memory was all the fights in the stands. It was a war zone at old County during Packer games all fueled by alcohol of course. The Packers stunk so bad the action in the stands kept us amused.

One last Lambeau story and I am done. It was the first playoff game in Lambeau after they came out with that cable Cam? The one that is always in the way when you watch on tv cuz the guy on the joy stick can’t move it fast enough? Well, my wife and I were walking around the upper deck before the game and there were about 5 guys with hammer drills and welding torches frantically trying to get this huge piece of iron that one of those cables was anchored to? I asked the guy what happened and he said a forklift hit it delivering beer to a con session stand. The camera was sitting on the ground at the 50 yard line. Those men were desperate to get it re anchored and there was this FOX TV guy screaming at them and into a two way radio at the same time. It was comical for us but nor for them.
Then a pack of drunk packer fans started yelling at the workers for drilling into our sacred stadium. It was a madhouse cops came and shoosed everybody away from the workers, I felt sorry for them.

Did you go to any games at Lambeau before it was rejuvenated? Like mid 70’s? Remember the men’s bathrooms?
They had a 40 foot OPEN eave trough hanging on the wall. Of course it was at a severe angle so gravity could do it’s thing and keep all the used up beer flowing down hill? Tall guys went to the left short guys went to the right? You stood there doing your thing and about 10 gallons of “stuff” just kept flowing past like a mighty beer river. The pipe went outside and down to the parking lot prolly on a speed course all the way to the pristine waters of Green Bay,,,,,

oh the memories we used to park in the median grass out on the freeway and tear up our parking tickets before we drove home

Mid 70s I was just born. Lol. However, I've been to a pre renovation packer game when the pee troughs were around. How disgusting. Glad they fixed that. I think that was 2003 they still had the troughs. I used one and was disgusted.

I don't know when they finally got rid of the troughs, but those were bad. They are all gone now, have been for years.
