Ahhh yes waiting in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Almost as fun as waiting in the Kohl's parking lot. :headbang:

Ulta... Uggggg. I had to buy my wife some Christmas gifts there this year. Worse shopping experience EVER!! Not only was everything foreign to me, but the staff was busy with their gossip session and were not helping anyone.

I was able to help myself and find all of the items online, and discovered that the store I went to was out of all of the things she wanted. Everything was OOS there.

So I went to Walgreens and got most of what she wanted, and they were a lot more helpful.

Now last year, I went to a different Ulta location, and I was greeted at the door by a sales associate and she asked to see my list I had in hand. She found everything I had on the list. Easy and hassle free. I wrote a nasty review on Google for this year's experience.

I had to go into an Ulta once....solo. I found the first person wearing one of those apron things and stated: “Hi! My wife needs one of these (handed over the thing), could you help me? I’m a bit out of my element and comfort zone here.”

I need a setup like that for my kitchen fireplace. Did you have that made or did you buy it?

    Oh yeah, nice ash score.:woodsign:

Nice BBQ setup. I had one that swung on chains from the crane in my fireplace. I’ll tell ya the ladies loved it when you cook them dinner over an open fire in the living room ;)

Appreciate the scoop on this Ulta place. Never heard of it. Always nice to add another store to the no go list without actually suffering through the first experience.
Once made the mistake of going to breakfast with my girlfriend and her mom. Just one quick stop at the mall after breakfast. We got home for dinner. They can’t rope me into the car anymore.

Lol. I think it's highly location specific. Like I said, one was bad but last year was so easy, provided you knew what your SO wants. 2 years before, was the same easy experience. At the location in the mall. You'll get major points by getting her the stuff she really wants.

Rescued the other half of my ash out of the culvert and got some maple and white oak in the process. I also made a face cord platform out of a couple pallets im thinking i might do single rows everywhere to try and get better/faster drying time. ?????? Back to school/work tomorrow? Single rows will certainly speed up your drying time. You know how splits always sag forward out of a stack? It's gotta be because they have shrunk more on the exposed side.
