    Mornin... :coffee:... heavy snow coming down now... looks like we may get 10" by 3 this afternoon. Coastal areas are getting rain, but 20-30 miles inland, all snow. I'll take the snow any day. Oldmanitis expected after snow movin' later... :BrianK:... powerful perty (the snow, not the old man)

    :tractor: I can hear that JD idling from here.............................. Storming since Sunday afternoon here and we got a whopping 2" of ice flakes. meanwhile down in Ottawa, 85 miles to the SE, they got clobbered with a big ice storm. I AM NOT complaining..............

    Sorry mate it's been a bit busy around here and I haven't logged in for a while!
    Better weather today and we even got some rain last night which was a godsend after a couple of brutal days of heat and high winds. We are doing ok here at the moment we are a lot better off than the people on the New South Wales coast and Eastern Gippsland, the bushfires over there are very bad.

    Emptied the OWB ashes last night. Not too bad, two months of burning before I emptied. Usually, by pushing them back into the burn box, I'll get an extended time before having to empty them, but I didn't do that this time.

    I was in Wichita, KS. I made all my flights and they didn't cancel the one the my local airport so I got home about 2:15 this morning after navigating the snow and ice laden roads.

    The snow removal was by far the most difficult yet this year and may be up there contending for the number one spot! Took an hour and a half with 99's help at that. (Thank you , dear!)

    The base was so moisture laden that the snow blower would just end up lowing the snow in front of itself and then it would climb onto that pack if it could.

    Lots of forward and reverse..... hope the tranny doesn't give out! :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:    ​
