My wife asked me if I wanted to take part in "dry January" or some such nonsense.

Sure thing! I'll drink Shirley Temples while I'm out entertaining my customers at our annual post holiday dinner/bar crawl.

Hockey! Just returned from Columbus OH. The last three years, two buddies who are Chicago natives go to a Blue Jackets game when the Blackhawks visit. The guys, who have been hockey fans since childhood said it was the best game they have seen in person.

tied 2-2 at end of regulation with a last second goal by the Jackets just after the gun went off. Ruled time had ended. Overtime with 3 on 3, with no score. Shootout happened then. Chicago pulled it off. We had low level center seats by luck.

I am not a hockey fan, as I don’t know it well, but it was spectacular. I am sure you hockey guys can appreciate the description.

on the way back, there we squadrons of electric company trucks heading east, likely to the expected ice storm that Woodwhore and others have braced for.

settling in now, awaiting the wife to take care of me.

Ok. Pork tenderloin grilled and resting. It's starting to snow out there. The 30 mph winds don't make it nice out there.

Both pups went out with m and they both did their business, so they are good until 11:30 or so.

Yes, thanks! Regardless if I am a grounded female or not, can you tell if the female plug has 3 prong receptacles on that cord?

Can't tell from the image. As a matter of fact, even the plug end looks like only a two conductor.

But if you read the description of the cord, it says it meets OSHA requirements and that it is also a 14-3. (14 gauge wire and 3 conductors; one hot, one neutral, one ground.)

A guy I used to work with and his wife went out. Neither of them could handle drinking so well and it didn't end well one particular night. Once they got home, she attacked him with a cast iron fry pan! He hide under the kitchen table until the police arrived and took her into custody. The news report the next day stated "the police confiscated the fry pan"

Thanks, I am going to order it, WWW wants 14 or 12's , so we'll give this a whirl and see if it's right, chat is still unresponsive. I could make out on a picture on the front of the round ground prong. If not, no doubt the new crazy cat lady here can use it for a heated mat for stray cats. (  )

Oh My, scary stuff Dave! Except I'll probably laugh again next time we have that movie on for kiddo
