So far it’s a bust for monadnock and northern mass. The temp is right at freezing and is supposed to drop. We will see....
Rain here in Nashua so far. Ice on the trees in Jaffrey (Southwest NH), on the local news, and 2" of snow in Concord. One bright spot is, the temps on Tuesday will be above freezing. edit, it just started to glaze over on my deck...
Most of MI getting rain. Looks like a mess in the UP, as normal. Supposed to get windy but hoping it will mostly miss us as quite often it does.
We're dodging this one. 38 here, and raining. Forecast of ice between Worcester and Concord, all along the Ma/NH border. 24+hrs of snow, Nnorth of Concord nh. Stay warm. Stay safe. Looks like I'm making turkey soup today, start putting some of Christmas back in the cellar, and watch it rain.
I woke up at one point during the night and it was down pouring. Then at 5 when I went on the porch to grab some wood there was sleet. Dawn revealed that it was now snowing lightly. Weird storm.
Here at the south end of Sebago Lake we have 4” of snow and it’s supposed to end up at about 6” today with a little freezing rain or sleet near the end of the day, then a short break and round 2 moves in later this evening with another 6” or so throughout tomorrow afternoon. Here’s a current radar picture and you can see the north and mountains in Maine aren’t getting round one, it’s all going out to sea, but tomorrow they’re getting a foot or more.
About 3" here on the top of the lake. Gotta bury a friend just before lunch today, glad it's not freezing rain as one of their early quesses was last week.
The weather guesses are all over the place this morning. Woke up to 4" of heavy stuff, and even though below freezing it's mostly snow but I definitely hear sleet mixing in, so this will likely lower totals. Hopefully after this you can sled out some logs!
Hovering between 32&34 degrees here the last 24 hours. All rain. Hope everyone fares well through this mess north & east of us.
