Good morning everyone! Hunkered down here...
husband staying home from work, he could get there, but getting home would be another matter. I didn't do any real storm prep, but there's plenty of wood in the basement. 9:30A we're supposed to get a heavy band of freezing rain.
Had a good time with the grandson yesterday, Lego everywhere, and he had a staring contest with the cat. Which he lost.
I'll get my husband to work on the MS180 this morning, it needs sharpening. The 250 is ready to go. Might be stuff to cut, depending on how much ice we get. As if Woodwhore needed any more wood!

Just some general house cleanup, and making a pot of soup, would be on the agenda for today.

 

Good morning, ya doesnt look very nice out. Im bummed cuz i just got permission to take some nice asplundh trees on my road. Ash,maple and birch. Hopefully we dont lose power but when you live in the woods its kinda part of the package. My cousins on the nashua highway dept and says its not too bad yet but their expecting that to change shortly. Be safe and have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon everybody. Not much going on around here. Chaz had to go back to work today. Been coping pics to the digital frame my boys got for Xmas. It is neat as the boys can email pics right to it. I have one son in Colorado and 2 in Iowa and I am in NY. So far I have copied about 450 and my oldest just sent me 9 more. Have a good afternoon all.

Good morning everyone! Husband reports that there's not enough to snowblow, but enough to take my car to work (AWD) instead of his. I guess I'll be doing some driveway shoveling. Oh well, he did sharpen both my saws yesterday.
I need to bring in wood as well, all that's in the basement is oak, and it's too warm to burn oak.
There's maple close to the bulkhead, so that will do fine with day temps in the 40's the next few days.
So, no ice storm, no pine branches down in the yard, just 2 or 3 inches of crunchy snow, which should melt off by Saturday. Ho hum.
I'll be in bed by 8, but happy New Year's Eve everyone!
