Boiler is making some DHW out of black locust I loaded yesterday AM. Won't need any heat today or tonight.

Forgot to add that we are supposed to get 12+ of snow starting tonight. It was a nice stretch of not having to shovel everyday while it lasted!

    Thanks!
Yeah you can buy wild boar at certain places or you can hunt them.
They are open all year except females with offspring, all of whom hasnt changed stripes for
    single color yet.

37f/3c over here at the moment, it’s forecast to reach a balmy 53f/12c tomorrow and there isn’t any rain expected in the next week. It’s been so wet recently, the ground is saturated and it’s awfully muddy so hopefully it’ll dry out a little. Burning some ash and random uglies which is keeping the place nice and toasty.

It's been snowing here for almost 3 days straight, my pick up is actually stuck in my own driveway. The underside is packed with snow. Gonna get my boys and the 3 of us will have to dig it out

I hope youve all been doing well and have had a great Christmas! Ive been on the wet coast the last 8 days so the stove has been cold. Its currently -9c/16f with a fresh stove full of doug fir doing its thing. While I was away I missed a rare warm rainy front that almost washed away all our snow. The folks around here were able to have a white Christmas as the rain turned to snow just in time. Ive lived in the area for 23 years and havent seen a green Christmas so it seems like a pretty rare thing.

41c 106f at the moment. Went for an early swim at the beach but too hot now. Waiting on a cool change around 3 pm. Total fire ban here today with a nasty hot northerly.

Sharks are a chance but rare. We’re to far south for crocs they are across the top of Australia.

24 and 77 still on coals. 4” or so of fresh snow and it’s supposed to snow all day but give us only 2” more lol. Maybe it will mix at the end. Then a short break for a couple hours and round 2 will bring another 6” tomorrow that’s wet and heavy. Good news is temperatures above freezing for a few days following so some decent meltage instead of ice for a change.

If you’re in the south it must be even hotter in north OZ?

Slop is starting to collect on the highways in the form of slush. Plows are out and also spreading salt.

    (good day not to drive)

The tree tops are really waving in the breeze here but thankfully the rain is done. Might get a little snow later they say but only a couple inches.

Yeah, I saw the forecast. Keep the shovel ready and the snow blower gassed up.
