I emptied one of the pallet cages I used for ugliness last night. I use them for the firepit, and decided to fill it back up again with short and uglies left from stacking this winter. Got all done and went to move it and this happened. DOH, anyways it's still sitting there gonna have to fix it today.
How are you picking that up? With a 3pt pallet jack? I was thinking of doing the same thing except for my good wood since I have to move it a couple hundred feet from my splitting area to my stacking. Thought about setting up 2 or three of those metal cages and throwing my splits into them.
Get a 5 gallon can of gas about 40 foam cups fill and strategically place everywhere light and run. Walla instant problem fix no heavy lifting involved.
I have forks on the three point on the tractor. You can see the racks in the background are all individual pallets stacked up. Each one is 1/3 cord and I can move it with the tractor. Cuts down on handling a lot.
Sean, I saw a couple of those bins by the road a few days ago. They still have the plastic tubs in them and are asking $50 apiece. Think I may wait about a month and then make an offer. I could use them for moving water!
