    Makes me wonder just where it was supposed to fall. Maybe, further to the right of the roof, between houses.

    The way the branches shattered on the far left, it was probably a dead tree. It may have splintered at the stump. Hard to see.

    I always try to learn from other's mishaps.

    I did notice one guy running towards the center of the road and looked like he might of had a rope in his hand. So maybe fall in the front yard.

    Certainly didnt look like it was tied high enough. Plus it wasn't under tension. When I'm pulling with a rope I want to know I have command of the tree before any cutting is done. Rope should have been under tension before the saw was started.
