Another little pile from recent Asplundh work. White oak tree farther in a guys yard. They cut the big limbs back to trunk and left wood road side of his tall shrubs. Almost completely buried in leaves so only noticed it recently as i drive by the house very often. Dont know how long its been there. Stop, grab and load. Reminds me of my old hoarding days. 4-7" diameter. Again not much, but quick and easy...and white oak to boot!
Right with the log tongs! For sure that was worth stopping to get. White oak is worth the time to get.
Another week or two worth of fire there... No reason to complain. I'm starting to wonder, is anybody else glad they don't live near Brad? We'd all constantly be driving around in empty trucks with the words; sorry, Brad already took it, ringing in our ears.
Just realized another frustration I regularly suffer. "4-7" diameter" - Around here, the tree guys woulda put every last inch of that through the chipper. You would think they get paid by the pound of mulch they produce.
I love it. Maybe the sixth one ive owned of that model. Starts up good, no issues. Itll get rained on some times in the PU and still work. Sit in back when its below freezing and start right up. I would consider Echo chainsaws over the "other" brand, but dont tell any one on here! BTW, i watched the dog drinking the beer for fifteen minutes and it didnt go down at all! Now if that was you doing that...
I am a guessing there could have been some sophisticated hoity-toity type thinking, look at that poor guy he must be in a bad way. But not here, O no we see you found a small hidden treasure. For that sir you should be commended. I say make this man a reality TV star. Call it old school hoarding with buZZaw or something like that.
I told buZZsaw BRAD we would make a great team if I could get some of the equipment up there. I would like to one day though.
nah! I look terrible with make up on! i think it was brenndatomu or unclefess had mentioned "weekend at buZZsaw's" a spoof on the movie "Weekend at Bernie's"
