I have a real nice Homelite Super EZ Auto for sale today. Just 3 days ago i put on a NOS upgraded 3 shoe clutch as the old Junky 2 shoe s- clutch was broke... Which was common for them to so. Also has a NOS bucking spike. Has a decent air filter. And a really nice 16 inch Tilton super bar... And what looks to be a pretty new chain. Runs great.... And both the auto oiler and manual oiler work. Also gutted the crap out of the muffler. Sounds great !!!! These pics i took.... Are what this old girl cut today. This is a fun... Well balanced... Capable lil saw ! Has about 150 psi comp and great spark. Asking $65 plus shipping.
I was able to dig the spikes in and lean on it alil bit on the bigger logs. It didnt shy away from it like i thought it would . Doesnt vibrate as bad as some of the other older saws ive had as well
Ok fellas. I can do $50 plus shipping. Thats me breaking even . Its a good saw with a lot more cutting left in it ! Better snag it before i decide to keep it
Maybe someone will take you up on it in time Fuzz. I just picked up a real nice one and once I get it running, I'll post up a review/vid. Such good runners they were!
Not too worried about it . It can stay !! The Super EZ is probably one of my all time favorite saws . I have had many . My favorite was a very nice blue one with straight exhaust stack . Id like to have that one back I look forward to your review and vid !! I know it will be cool !
Yeah, I would love a minty blue EZ. Was there a blue Super EZ? Manual oiler only on those? Def on my short list for the collection.
I've got one just like it, but it needs at least one oil hose and probably a clutch. Starts and runs great, though. It's not quite so ergonomically friendly as more recent models, but it's still an elegant machine from back when almost anything worth having was made of metal instead of plastic.
