Just finished a plate of my wife’s baked meat balls/Ziti with fresh mozzarella and we have a 11 lb spiral ham cruising along in the oven. I’ll be I a food coma in another 30 minutes.

We did breakfast this morning. And we're planning new york strip, scallops, and crab legs for supper.
For now, i'm out burning some calories splitting and stacking. Doesn't get any better than that!

Christmas Eve we had (cookies kiddo and I baked), scalloped potatoes and ham :drool:, best ever in 30 years ! (more cookies) and garlic sauteed scallops (cookies). Interesting and delicious mix of foods. Today was cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole for brunch/lunch/dinner, yummy stuff I think I'll make breakfast burritos out of.

Ham, turkey, cheesy potatoes, settlers beans (I think that's what they're called) shrimp, cole slaw, artichoke (sp?) dip, taco salad, garnishes, 3 types of creamed pies and lots of treats and sweets!

Yeah, looks like the same ones and they are good!

It's easy to have too many of them but I managed to eat sensibly this season. (so far)

Supposedly the secret to avoiding that is to eat legumes more often so your first digestive process builds up the enzyme(s) needed to digest the fibers so they don't ferment (as much) in your lower digestive tract.
Kinda the same thing with dogs if you suddenly change their brand of food.
    Woof !!

Settlers beans are awesome. Our go to when bringing food somewhere. Reheat in crock pot, as needed.

Christmas dinner : deep-fried turkey, bread dressing, green bean casserole, roasted butternut squash, turnip (yuk), mashed potatoes, French meat dressing, corn, gravy. All washed down with asti spumanti.

Desserts were apple and pumpkin pies, vanilla ice cream, cranberry nut squares, and varied cookies.

It was all gone before I took any pics. I do have this one just before firing up the burner
