    Yep looks like it too. I’d just be precautionary in saying Black locust but not singling out honey locust, only because identifying that kind is new to me.

    Black Gold!!! Put down the eggnog and grab some premix. Bring some extra chains. From my experience it takes the keen edge off the tooth fast. But if you don’t mind forcing things a bit the chains will keep cutting. Seems the dulling effect stops after a little bit.
    I cut about a cord worth a few months back. Two saws. Got it done without sharpening either but they surely needed a touch up after.
