I too with this mild weather, cleaned both stoves and be done with it for the holidays :D
Bbq'd hamburgers tonight to take advantage before the cold front pops a visit, goes so much better as to not have a frozen smoothie to deal with

Stopped at the gal's apt and left a note in her door explaining the situation with trying to contact her. She IM'ed me thru FB and said she would stop by tonight. So that looks good.

Went into work- everyone gave me strange looks because I wasn't supposed to be there. After about an hour (computer decided it needed to updates before anything could be done), IT got my work laptop back to recognizing me.

On the way to work, I thought I had a headlight out. I checked it when I was getting gas on my way home, and sure enough the important one (read, the driver's side, which will get you a ticket if it isn't working) was out. Went past my place and straight to the Ford dealer where they were able to squeeze me in. Was only there about 1/2 and hour and $25 later I was on my way home.

Checked in for my flight online and all went well UNTIL I got my boarding passes. Only 2 passes but there are 3 planes I have to catch. Looks like I will be stranded in Chicago :hair:. Called the help desk and they said to try about 6 pm tonight and see if it appears. For some reason, even though the site checked me in all the way to ICT, it is seeing the 3rd flight separate from the other 2. If it doesn't work later tonight, then I will have to get the attendants at the counter to help before I leave MHT.

Well, at least the weather should be good for the house sitter while I'm gone. Oops, now they are saying a significant storm may hit on Sunday, the day before I come back. I did show the gal how to use the snowblower, but would rather the storm fizzles out so she doesn't have to try her newbie skills.

Hey, it worked, I have all 3 boarding passes - and bonus, the 3rd one gets me to my planned final destination!

Also took advantage of the warm weather as the stove has not been cleaned since last weekend and with the cooler weather it needed it . Also went out after a few hours of sleep and got my wife a Christmas present, took care of a lot of things I did not have time to do this weekend .

Crappy weekend as I could not get anyone to cover this weekend for the passavation, Derouge, and cleaning of the WFI system and tanks so I worked Saturday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 am Sunday and then 4:00 pm Sunday until 7:00 am this morning. Needless to say I am not to happy with my team as the last person who should have to work second shift and the crazy long hours is the General Superintendent, won't happen again that I can tell you .

Productive day considering I am running on just a few hours of sleep in the last few days so that is positive ! Tomorrow up at 3:00 am but I will be leaving at noon whether or not anyone likes it, fluck it have a ton of work to do but after this weekend I really don't give a chit. What really pizzed me off is that I had been looking forward to Christmas sermon at the church and everyone on the team seemed to have something more important to do than cover the night shifts to forward the shutdown . ! End of Rant!

Negative: Got to give some of my team members a schooling
Positive : Cha Ching Cha Ching made some seirous coin and its Holiday time and had a productive day ! Stove is working like a charm again

Dinner with the wife tomorrow and some serious chilling and drinking which I look forward to and then on Christmas Day I head out to the Sista's for a Christmas celebration with the family .

Want to wish everyone here a happy and healthy Christmas !

    PS.
Bogie praying you will have a safe and happy journey !

If there’s one thing I’ve learned with regards to managing people, some will try and get away with anything. And some will be dumb like a fox doing so.

I know what covering shifts is like. I was a manager where the union was very present. I had my scheduled posted 6 weeks out. I had records showing who worked what in previous years.

Well, my wife got an early Christmas present. Two weeks ago she got involved in an accident...slow speed...that totaled her 2007 Volvo XC70. I have been looking for a suitable replacement and finally for an XC90 in Belchertown. I brought it home tonight. It's a 2008 and is in outstanding condition. I had a nice 2 1/2 hour drive home and she was thrilled with it. Probably the nicest car she has ever had. It's got 2 sets of wheels and tires. The winter ones have Blizzaks and I can't wait to try them out.

Thomas Edison made a good observation on that subject:
"5% of the people think. 10% think they think. The remaining 85% would rather die than think."
