I didn't measure it but I'd say there is a little over 1" between the side chain and fender.

Yea! That makes sense as the spacers are 1". I am glad I had them installed! Even if it did delay the delivery. If you are going to put spacer on yours make sure you get the new bolts as they need to be longer, that was the hold up on mine . The dealer had the spacers but had to order the bolts.

My dealer made is big deal of retorquing the wheel bolts at the 50 hour service.

Sounds like a good, cautious dealer. If those bolts loosen up all hell will break loose in pretty short order. Same goes for the loader mount bolts. That’s how gear housings get broken and spacers can add to the issue.

I got the vibe it had been a problem. They were actually too tight.

Reply to my own quote. I spoke to soon when I went to use my winch the PTO shaft pulled apart when I let the hitch down.:picard: I will just take the Pat's off for now until I can get a longer PTO shaft.

Pallet forks and a 30+ ft x 13-18 in diameter oak log. Not bad for a loader rated to only 1500#. 20191222_124730.jpg

I've been slacking on my wood gathering, other projects......
Feels good getting back in the woods, love a sunny winter day working up firewood. I'll have a decent pile of logs ready.

    It’s a ROPS similar to a skidder.

    Thx
    :)

Huh.. Not seen that before on a tractor.
Looks almost like it's attached to the plow, but I didn't figure it was.

Just an odd angle I guess.

Limb risers or "sweeps". A big help in the woods, just keeps those pesky limbs and branches from wiping out your ears

It protects the tractor from falling trees as well of course, not that it happens

It’s not strong enough for a ROPS? Just curious
