    Sweet gum
    Apple
    Sassafras
    Ash
    Beech
    White Birch
    Hickory
    Black Walnut

    Sounds just like my beer fridge except there may be 30-40 different beers in there. Each type of wood and beer will fit your mood and goal at some point.

    A lot of FHC members that smoke meats have suggested it over the past 5 years since I’ve been here.

    Quite the woodfolio you have there!:yes:! 13 is such an unlucky number.
    buZZsaw thinks you should add another species or two!
    How many varieties of maple and hickory Stoveshamster ?
    You got me to thinking what i have in my hoard. I have all yours except white birch and walnut. I have black birch.
    Also elm, basswood, tulip poplar, Bradford pear, catalpa (one round). Eastern white pine and some red cedar logs (the only softwoods)
    I couldve missed one or two. Really had to give it some thought though.

    I have tulip poplar as well. So that makes 14. As far as maple I just call it maple. I know I have sugar and silver so 15 species maybe?
