I picked up a 550xp last week and finally got a chance to put a couple of tanks through it. I have to say, it lived up to all the hype I have read about it!

White oak? Nice size tree to break in the saw.

I think it was white oak. There are a few more that have to come down.

    Yup! That was me.

Gentleman, we have yet another true Hoarder in our midst here. It was a pleasure meeting you that day for sure!

Looking forward to lots of pics of your toys in action. The only thing these guys like more than beer and firewood/pellets is pictures! (Oh crap, I said the b-word....)

If you have a hoard of saws? Then we need pics? Either here, in the Chainsaw pics thread, or start another of your collection :saw:

Mmmmm beer. Sorry, no hoard of saws. Just a modest few at this point although I find myself deciding which one to get next as soon as I bring a new one home. I did just finish a grapple that I made for my kubota though. Maybe a pic of that will get you through the next couple of hours until you can get to a beer? It is done, just needs paint now. Works great!

I was always underwhelmed by a 346 but the 550 did impress me. I figure I'll keep it hanging around for a while.

Badass dude. What is your lift capacity post grapple? I stole a b2100 a few years back, but with what weight I'd add with a grapple I would be down to saplings to grab. Does the work I ask of it, but always could use more tractor.

Also, what is the silver box thing with the red plugs all about on the loader cross brace?
