Bet you’re glad that’s out of the way now, I don’t enjoy shopping on a normal day, never mind at this time of the year. Think we’re planning on going out late in the evening, hopefully we’ll avoid the busiest time
I wish I could get our Christmas shopping done in an hour trip to one place! I don't think that's remotely possible! One gift I bought yesterday will be going back even before it is wrapped! "I don't think she will like this scarf...." (Her) "Yes Dear".... (Me)
Wife shops for Christmas all year. When she sees something that "fits" a particular person, it goes in the cart. Keeps it all in a box or 2 in her sewing room. It's all sitting on the kitchen table at the moment, waiting to be wrapped. She's also been making stuff. Knitted or Crocheted couch throw (actually 2 of those), a scarf for our son made from the wool off a sheep we had a few years ago. This has been going on for a few months. We're having a big-ish family a "white elephant" party GTG on Sunday. I suggested as a gag that ours should be an actual white elephant. She found a tea cup shaped like one. I ordered that on the spot. I keep this close by...........
Hate shopping so much I order most groceries online. GF is of the same cloth. She uses Walmart’s shelf to car service and loves it . Same on the gifts. I even address it to them= no wrap No delivery no touchy no awkward gratitude situation no “you shouldn’t have” no hugs/kisses from people you don’t want hugs/kisses from. BingBangBoom OK maybe I’m antisocial,,,,,, but I’m not selfish.
