My wife wanted a charcuterie board ( i never heard of it) for Christmas eve, so I basically eyeballed taking the mid section of this cherry log out. I think i did pretty good. Basically she wants to put food on it ( appetizers) this makes me want an alaskan saw mill. She wants me to sand it a little and rub grape seed oil on it. Its 15 out all this typing is making me cold. Gotta get back to splittin!!!! 76E33E01-F0A7-4647-B680-83882F0DFA30.jpeg

Right where I want to be.
Had NO idea what they were until just a few days ago. Don't remember if I saw it on Matt Cremona's channel or somewhere else.
Pretty cool to take scraps and make one (if that's how you want it). The best part would be eating the stuff on the board.

She’s going for something like Midwinters pic, also going to have the indoor grill going with hickory for a build your own kabob bar. Got a little splitting done and these new waterproof gloves are nice but dipped gloves always make your hands cold, theyll be better for the 25-30 degree range. 3AE0558C-557F-4F8D-9F64-2207C7F8B7E2.jpeg 8DBF42D6-B158-49C0-A67F-620076F0A7A9.jpeg

We get similar gives issued at work. In real cold weather I’ll wear black nitrile gloves also issued under them, I find it keeps my hands warmer.
