    I'm not sure where it will be, but supposed to have brewers from all over the state and then some. I wasn't paying real close attention, but I thought that they mentioned a Pallet Pilsner ;)

    I like stove and woodburners because THEY DO STUFF. There are too many sites with armchair quarterbacks that live through others. I find stove people inspiring and they get me off my azz. Also, bitchy women don't hang on woodburning and stove forums. It is refreshing.

    Oh, and there is always beer flowing. :D

    Tom, this is a great post and it reflects the feelings of many. Personally, the thing about the saw size is one thing that always set wrong with me. I recall one in particular who was claiming if you didn't have a big saw with a 36" bar or larger, it was a toy. Hum.... Toys still get work done and for sure there are many folks who are new to cutting and they don't need to go at it like a pro. Learn as you go.

    I've not mentioned it before either but I had almost 28,000 posts on one forum but that is history. A much better atmosphere here and the forum is not ruled by advertisers either.

    Yep, I totally agree. I had an 066, 441, 361, 261, and a 7900 all of which are outstanding saws. The down side is not everyone needs or can afford these "PRO" or Ported saws just to cut 3 or 4 cords a year. On some sites if you disagree with this train of thought, you are less of a man or no nothing about saws. Lol..... The sad thing about that is a lot of these posts are made by some guys that do more posting than sawing and this pushes a lot of good folks away. I have not once came across this negative attitude on this site. I am happy for whatever you like to saw with, me this go around I am happy with my Ms 271 and my 555, and on this site seems like everybody is happy for me. NOW SOMEBODY THROW ME ANOTHER BEER, PLEASE!!!! :thumbs:

    Ooooh I just seen on local news that the World Pork Expo started today at State Fairgrounds & runs through the weekend.Not just loads of farm equipment/related things for the hog farmer but several stands of championship pork BBQ from several states......I went to one of these a few years ago,no interest in the farm stuff but they always draw good crowds from the various food for sale...... :drool:

    Some of us are a little bias (I am a Stihlhead, but stihl like a Good Husq), but we are all here for one reason. The love of firewood. Whether you just cut it, or burn it, stack it, throw it in a pile, or have someone shred it up into saw dust/chips and make pellets out of it :) We are all Pyro's at heart..

    I welcome you again to our Forum. I remember when I did the 1st time. But now that you know us? Welcome to FHC my friend.

    Heck I cut a lot of firewood with an old craftsman then a farm boss. I cut a lot with that farm boss but started buying saws more suitable to what I do. And I just love chainsaws. I don't have anything ported but have a few nice saws. Whatever works for you is great, I think Dennis cut more firewood then most of is and he is really a one saw and one chain guy. That works for him and meets his needs. Other like to have lots of options and lots of saws, very great and accepting crowd here.
