-13f now, headed to -20f. Burning a mix of oak, poplar, and jack pine. Forecast doesn’t have any minus signs after tomorrow!

26° here, a little more snow fell last night, maybe 4 inches total. The plow made a token pass down the middle of the street.
I've almost burned through the apple I brought in, and today I'll bring in some black locust, for tomorrow's cold. Any suggestions on what lighter wood to mix it with?

Just brought in a heaping cart-load of black birch and oak. Tonight looks like our first dip into the negatives this winter. Stay warm all.

25 here, we got about 4” of snow total also and today is a good cleanup day, topping out about freezing. Just put some mixed hardwood and a little spruce in the Fireview. Temperature dive coming tonight with below zero chill factor all day tomorrow.

7-Day-Forecast_Web_PM-74.jpg Temperature is starting to drop here. I've been burning a mix of soft maple and cherry and loading some big heavy chunks of locust on top. That grandpa bear holds a ton of wood and will hold coals easily for 12 hours.

7 OAT this AM on the way to 9, and 68 IAT thanks to the furnace. Started snowing last night well before bed, and we ended up with a couple inches. I'll be pulling snow off the roof this morning.
Oak and Beech fire in the stove soon, very soon, but first :coffee:.

Went to bed last night and it was 19*....was 26* when I woke up. Supposed to get into the single digits tonight.

Boiler is still working on last night's load of oak, hickory, hedge, and black locust.

    So's the 2nd :coffee:.
Looks like the cold will continue through the night....we're getting down to about 2 by bedtime and the "real feel" is in the negatives. Mid 20s tomorrow.

Don't know about you but I am going to enjoy this and might even get some work done if my body holds out.

Is your area setting any records with the snow fall amount? We have nothing but a very lite dusting.
