Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. We have to cut and deliver a load of wood this morning and then help finish up the backpacks for the school children to be delivered tomorrow. Don't know what else we will do.
    Remember the Golden Rule
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

Good morning everyone. 22 and overcast. Might see some sunshine this afternoon. Chaz said we ending up getting about 4 1/2 - 5 inches of snow over the last 2 days. He is going to do some plowing before he goes to work. Have a good day all.

    Morning everyone :coffee:

One nice thing about the split shift, no need to wake up an hour early to clear the driveway and truck.

Already plowed, truck is cleared and ready to go, and just relaxing with some coffe while Holly runs around.

    Have a great day all.
    :)

Thank you sir! Went through TurboDiesel territory on my way to ChipsFlyin area of the state this morning. It's looking like winter. Snow on the ground the whole way. Not much, just enough to remind us it is December after all.

Met a nice guy last week from Pittsburgh. He works for Honeywell, spent most of the week in my control room, working on a big start up.

Good morning everyone! No snow here yet. If it can hold off a few hours, that would be good. They are egging me on over here Teach me about Pine
to get some of the red pine across the street from me.
I got all the wood in the side yard moved to the back. IMG_20191217_16231.jpg
My splitting spot is just behind the stack, so even if there's snow on the ground, I can keep busy.
    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Rain today, so no fire wooding...:(...did get the load split and delivered yesterday... IMG_20191216_120508415_HDR.jpg Then we went to a farm supply store and got a 30' pole for our son, that was fun with a 17' trailer. Finished up the evening helping our church mission team pack 540 bags of snacks for school kids on Christmas break. IMG_20191216_202027089.jpg
When we get back, going down to our daughter's house and fix a closet shelf that has fallen, then taking our grandson to see Santa at Bass Pro shop.

Good morning everyone! I hope all our southern members are safe after the tornadoes, from what I heard there were a lot of them.
My pine grab yesterday was fun, and once this latest snow melts I'll probably go back for more. I'd like to have half a cord of pine, split small and stacked.
The outside work I'll do today will be shoveling, and bringing in some black locust. It will be very cold tomorrow.
I cleaned my MS180 yesterday. It was kind of cruddy before, but the pine gummed it up even more. Otherwise... VYC4oIQ.jpg
    Have a great day everyone!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Going to move some wood up to Mama's house. She is supposed to come home tomorrow, if all goes well...
I want to share a little something different here this morning...hope y'all don't mind...

How I Met Jesus At The Mall

It’s less than two weeks before Christmas and I’m at where I’m usually at – nowhere on my mile-long to-do list. So, I do what every brave and slightly deranged person does – venture to a mall packed with the hustle of Saturday evening shoppers.

I brace myself for the Battle of Elbow Room. I enter the fray of frenzy – this is going to make the Roman Colosseum look like a children’s playground. But, as I step out of the elevator into the “arena” I am dumbstruck.

Standing tall in the throng of humanity was Rio de Janeiro’s famous Christ the Redeemer statue. It was much smaller than the almost-100-foot-tall original, but it was still pretty impressive. Here was Jesus with His arms stretched out over the chaos of shoppers. I expected a few gold bells and red ribbons gracing the mall. But Christ the Redeemer? Does that even fit the Christmas story?

Yes, at Christmas we celebrate the Christ child. But that’s only a part of the story — a very small part. If our focus is entirely on Christ’s birth, we miss the purpose for which he came. Jesus doesn’t just want our adoration, he yearns for our salvation. He came to redeem us from our empty way of life.

Without the whole story of Christmas, we miss out on the whole joy. Christmas is the love story of a God who broke into the darkness of this world. It’s the story of a God who would humble Himself and give up His majesty for a manger. But it didn’t end there. It’s the scandalous story of a God who chose to die for us. It’s the victorious story of a God who rose again and completely destroyed sin and death.

    Prayer

Father God, This Christmas, help me stop and ponder all that You accomplished. You poured out Your life as an offering. You lived to die so we could be with You forever. Thank You for that love that I can never fully grasp. Amen.

    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.
