Lol. You might just be kidding, but you are right on the mark!!! The only thing I ever took offense to was a comment made about how people in Winsted interact with the sheep; but everyone knows the sheep are in Colebrook

Hey Adam - how about an update on the farm?

Got 30 trees marked and ready to harvest for shiitake bolts. Mostly black birch. Couple oaks. Couple sugar maples. Spent a good deal of time making sure to select only from the underperforming trees throughout our sugarbush and up on the hill in the hickory pasture. Should get about 200 mushroom logs out of those trees.

Gearing up for maple season, too. Though feel like I’m falling behind with time to get some line work done and get the new smoke stack installed in the sugar house.

Researching and some minor site testing for a possible pawpaw orchard. We’ll see. Tabling the Boer goats for this year. Maybe get back into that idea next year.

I’d be happy to get out a Saturday in January when your schedule slows down to help with the line work.

Thanks bud. Have to route four 3/16ths lines over to the sugar house, rehang two of the three lines in the front woodlot (just changing their paths) and change out all the droplines and taps.
