Good morning everyone! It's still above freezing, 42°, bit a little windy. I have to prioritize my outside chores, because Tuesday we get another 3-6" of snow. I'd like to get this stack of rounds into the back yard... IMG_20191213_36592.jpg
and there's also some maple limb wood in a yard down the street that I might ask for. I don't think I'd better ask for the trunk, that would be biting off more than I could chew.
We had a good time with my grandson yesterday! IMG_20191215_13174.jpg
    Have a great day everyone!

Hey friends, everyone have an amazing Sunday!!! Very windy here today in NH. Im thankful to have been blessed with lots of wood and all the landowners that allow me to take wood off there land. Because of that i am able to bring someone a load of wood that had been layed off. Its my Nieces boyfriends family. Im only sharing this with you guys because i know you’ll appreciate it. Im not looking for recognition or a pat on the back. Im just grateful to have the wood and be able to do this.

I think the most he will get today is when she insist that he take her out for a walk. It is still snowing. He might have to plow. Didn't yesterday as there really wasn't enough to bother with.

Thank you for sharing your blessings with others. I have found thru all the years of cutting wood, when the GOOD LORD BLESSES us with an abundance, HE has plans for some of it. We give some away and HE ALWAYS PROVIDES more. 2 different people gave us wood that I knew we could use as a ministry to a cancer patient. Took her a 1 1/2 cord dump trailer load

    Morning everyone :coffee:

Well, we got around 2.5" of wet heavy snow overnight. Fortunately didn't lose power.

Probably plow the driveway today but not much else.

    Have a great day everyone.
    :)

Ugh, Monday, probably doesnt matter to some of you but you earned that right. Just lit up some mixed hardwood. Its 24 degrees here in the granite state. I delivered that wood yesterday and the family was very thankful. Looks like Kid’s elves got into some trouble playing with the little vacuum. Trying to live every moment of this holiday season and enjoy it without being in too much of a hurry. Everyone have a fantastic day. image.jpg

Good morning everyone! What Monday means to me is, the dump is open! I have to make a couple of trips, with bags of sawdust, and the pine branches that I was able to pull out of the pool with this thaw.
I moved one stack to the back yard yesterday... IMG_20191216_30903.jpg
And I'll move the other stack today. This is close to where I'll split it and stack it long term.
I have to say, stuckinthemuck did a beautiful job cutting. The round lengths are uniformly 16", and the cuts are all 90°, which is such a help when you're handsplitting. WeldrDave also cut all the twigs off flush when he cut them down. Thanks again guys!
It will snow all day tomorrow, 5 inches expected, and then it gets colder. So I'll be stuck housecleaning again. Actually, it could use it.
    Have a great Monday everyone!
