Wrong tranny; mine is a 4T65E. Still having that issue with the torque converter not releasing; dreading that I am going to have to pull it again.

Actually, it is not funny at all; why are you laughing about it? It stopped for about a year and then recently it has reoccurred. The valve body is mounted to the side of the transmission and the cover can't be removed with the transmission in the car. I have to do all the work myself and it isn't easy. Dropping the trans out the bottom isn't possible without taking the cradle apart. Probably best to pull the engine and trans as a unit out the top. I don't understand why it would go a whole year and not have the torque converter lockup problem and then have it return. However, we are hijacking the thread here.

Don't worry about that; this score is dead anyway. The neighbor's buddies came yesterday and took all the smaller stuff. This is what's left... IMG_20191215_14464.jpg
I suppose they have a plan for it. The limb wood from the maple down the block is gone. Lots of pine at this house, doesn't really tempt me. IMG_20191215_24754.jpg
I'll be looking for orange bucket trucks tomorrow, see if they are still working in the neighborhood.

Lots of raptors and vultures after free wood. That's why I'm moving the stack from Friday out of the front yard and into the back.

You need to find where they all go to lunch, then pick a truck and follow it back to where it's working for later return.

Though, in a city, it's not as easy as here where a lot of the time they are dropping stuff into the woods next to the road.

Buffalo Plaid and I have both seen them in the 99 parking lot, up by exit 7.

if they send a truck to pick up the trunk and they have any wood on board already you could ask them to toss a few in your yard ,i have gotten entire grapple loads that way and it never hurts to offer a box of donuts or something else like that

Good tip, I'll be on the lookout, they'll have to come by to pick up the pine across the street.

Make sure to hover over it like a vulture chainsaw in hand! Good score...
