The light rain and 40° temps earlier went way down. It's lightly snowing and 26°. The bottom drops out for a couple days. High BTU stuff on deck after the ash and silver maple is done in the AM.
Will have to do some searching there. I found it interesting that they made notes on where some of the building materials came from.
I still don't have the linoleum (or any other floor covering) down from my rebuild. I think it has been 3 years. I do have a piece scrap of linoleum between the tub and vanity so at least water is kept off the plywood. Yeah, once all the other issues got fixed/replaced, the floor isn't really on the top of my list of things to get done.
Monin all... wadda bummer letting Giz out just now... all of the snow is gone... ... I hates hot water rain on frozen ground... ... OK, I feel better...
I just went out to dump the ashes into the fire pit. Theres still about 4" of snow on the ground, but I expect that to be mostly gone by tomorrow morning. Weird to be mid December, and not having an overnight fire last night and only putting a small load in the stove this morning. The fog was CRAZY last night. I had to go to the bank, and on my way to and from, I went through a few pockets with zero visibility.
Can anyone (or group of people), help out Kimberly get tractor parts from Wayne, NJ to south Virginia during their holiday travels (or work travels). Here is the post to reply to.
Woke up to 51° at 6am. And that was the outside temp. Didn’t have to have a fire last night. It’s going up to 57° today. Rain today and snow tomorrow with an overnight low of 16°. The weather has been crazy this year.
Leaving in a little bit for the big city. Going to see the hip doctor. I am hoping he can give me a shot rather than a new hip... I've already had 3 hip replacements; that should be enough.
So this morning I had a delivery that made the day! These where cheap on eBay and I burned a gift card to order them. Supposedly 90 tooth ratchets. I opened the head of the half inch and counted the teeth and to my suprise they really are 90 tooth! This calls for a wake up coffee celebration! ( I was gonna get coffee anyways so ya there’s that )
Woke up to 44 this a.m. after it rained all day yesterday and washed the feeble couple of inches of snow that we had. Now down to 33 in 2 1/2 hrs. Supposed to go down to -4 here tonight. Lots of snow mobiles popping up on the local want ads already. Weird winter so far for sure.
