Good morning everyone! I spent yesterday with this merry elf. IMG_20191209_15126.jpg
We had just finished putting chocolate ornaments on his tree!
Today will be a warm one, with an inch of rain, on top of the snow. It will be a sloppy mess! I'm counting on it to melt a path to the back yard, so tomorrow I can start hacking up the pine limb that fell next to the pool. Wednesday it snows and freezes up again. It's a small window of opportunity!
We are feeding a big variety of wildlife. In addition to all kinds of birds (including hawks, which pick off sparrows at the feeder) there are chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, and possums that come around. I haven't seen a raccoon since one was eating our grapes off the vine in the fall.
    Have a good day everyone!

Good warm morning. 40 here, (9 yesterday) and climbing to mid-50's. Foggy. Rain today and tonight. Looks like an indoors day, keeping the stove running, with a window or two open. I'm always looking to bring 8n fresh air.

Still bringing Christmas up from the basement. Tree is up, lit, and decorated.

Good morning. Today we should hit about 41 with rain. Tomorrow about with a mix of snow and rain. And next day mid 20's. That will make for a fun driveway. We do have a trash can of ash so that will help if needed for ice. Have a good day all.

I am staying right in the house. Chaz is the one who has to deal with it.

The only fires that get built down here are the sugar cane field fires. From what I understand it destroys all the unwanted vegetation on the plant and leaves the stalk which is full of sugar.

Yep, those leaves on the cane are sharper that to ones on corn. Easy to burn them off. Need to get you some cane juice and try it.... unfermented now...:picard::cheers:

    Ok... During daylight hours

And now that it's dark, magical

We used to have a full sized tree, but it needed to be replaced. A 4ft tree on a cafe table, gets it done.

And, now for our redneck tree - colored lights on an indoor ficus tree

Mornin sir! Nice here. Helps my arthritis, not great but better. What a horrible disease. When I realized I couldn’t properly grip my 395 I knew I was in trouble. Opening a pack of crackers can sometimes be a challenge. Other than that I’m healthy and can use my mind. Nice to have another day to enjoy. Don’t work too hard today and enjoy some T Jeff time.

Good morning everyone! Not quite Florida temps, but we may hit 60° today! It's 50° already and the light is coming up, better get my boots on. I'm going to work on the pine limb that came down, maybe it has thawed enough so I can get the part that's taking a dip in the pool. IMG_20191210_10280.jpg IMG_20191210_17139.jpg Fortunately the butt end missed the PVC pool plumbing by about a yard, yay! Rain expected to begin around noon, so I'll get busy.
    Have a great day all!

I'm glad the warm weather is helping, but not happy that you can't do all the things you really enjoy. Glad you are able to make the best of each day though.
When I get through working 12's this week on Thursday, I might get a little woodyard time...
