I plotted a map. I saved it to my desktop and need to create a couple more new ones.

Is there a way to start a new map or do I wipe out what I have on Google Earth and rely on the file I saved to desktop?

    Thanks :)

Did you save the map as a .jpg file or something similar? If so, just copy it and give it a new name. I like to use a -1 or -2 or an a or b at the end of a file name with files that are very similar.

Thank Dennis, still working on it . My computer saved it as a .KMZ file. I can pull it up but I didnt get all plots saved, just one  . Meanwhile I'm excited to to learn how to format and excel file then save as CVS to import for the other years and plot EVERYTHING in the new file.

You need to download the "snipping tool" then choose what to snip out and save as a jpg file. Makes things much easier and quicker too.

I figured out how to format my excel columns correctly to import into Google Earth, Cool!! Except I cannot figure out the color/icon coding, just easier for me to break into different months/years and do separate maps. Meanwhile I am using snipping tool for screen shots to send  Loved and used this tool since Eric VW shared it but I did not think about using it for this situation, thanks Dennis :)
