Then how do you keep your beer cold?

That’s never been an issue. My buddies drink all the beer here and then they always seem to disappear without replenishing it :drunk:So there isn’t any beer to keep cold.

We've got about 4-6" of snow on the ground with rain on the way, then turning cold.
Golly gee, won't that ice be fun?
33 out, 65 in this morning. Fire last night for quite a while, and about to have another small one. Maybe after another :coffee:.
Should hit 39 today, so I'm hesitant to burn too much. Cold coming Wed. and Thurs. then warming again.

Got cold last night - colder then the weather guys predicted. Low was 17. 31 outside now, supposed to go into the 40’s. 70 inside now, threw in a few splits of Norway Maple.

Judging from the 59f temp, your wood stove took the night off!

Wow. We let the stove go out for too long. It's down to 73 (was down all the way to 70) in here right now. Ash is cooking in the stove now though so we'll get it back to normal very soon. The Fireview is working nicely.

Looks like we might be lucky. We've basically lost all of our snow and rain is on the way, so the rain won't be so bad falling on bare ground. Then it is supposed to turn cold so maybe the ground will re-freeze before we get too much snow cover again. We're hoping the snow stays north of us and now it is mostly predicted it will.

Yes, it did. I knew it was forecast to get rather cold overnight but it was also 74ºF inside at 9PM. IN Jan/Feb I probably wouldn't have.
59ºF isn't all that bad to recover from. Pine does a pretty good job of it.

Mid 50s. Got the coals burned down and gave the boiler a quick cleaning today before loading a couple days worth of oak, hickory, and hedge in there.
