I'm glad I didn't get what Antrim (an adjacent town) got - they show 27". I got maybe 15" total. Sometimes it pays to be in the valley - sometimes it don't. This time, apparently it did.

I just finished the driveway for the cleanup. Moved my car and pushed the snow from that spot up on top of the retaining wall behind it like I always do. This time, the blade slipped over the edge, and when I backed up, it pulled the wall back. :headbang:

I will have to wait until the snow melts to see if I can push it back.

The wall is landscape timbers. It pulled the wall back about a foot. I pushed it back about 8" with the plow, but theres snow between the wall and the dirt now, so I have to wait and see if its salvageable.

I managed to back into one of the chain link fence poles next to the house earlier in the day too. It was not a good day for me

Good thing you didn't go over it! Good luck, hopefully it goes back like it never happened!

No, this takes more skill. The wall is actually holding the ground above where I park. When I push the snow up against it, the plow rides up on the snow and ends up depositing most of the snow up on top, instead of in my parking area

Well I’ve have some free time and I’m awake! We got around 24”. Plowed snow at work for 13 hours yesterday, I got the dump truck stuck last night and no one else was there. It’s a lot of fun pulling out a dump truck with a pickup truck in 2’ of snow when you’re alone. Kerry Farwood plowed the driveway for me yesterday, she loves that Kubota! Here’s a pic of the deck.

Nice pictures! Squirrels romping around it looks!

My dad got about the same, as you know not far from you! Did you end up getting a bit of sleet & rain towards the beginning of the storm?

We got back home, no issues. Cleaned up a bit of snow. Much more to clean tomorrow.

Time for a serious adult beverage, in front of the wood stove. I'm glad I built a fire before we left. Just needed to light it off
