I know what you said but I want to ask.

Is the fuel line turned on? I'm sure you didn't forget that, but...…..

At the end of the season, I'll run the snowblower and then shut the fuel line off and wait for the engine to stop running. Then I know there is no gas left in the line/carb. Seems to work fine for me that way.

I need to get back outside and finish up the cleaning for this round. Plowing and shoveling are done, now I just need to snowblow the patio, and make the trails in the yard. I flooded the snowblower on the first attempt. I will measure while Im out there, but it seems like more than 8"

Regarding accumulations, I'm seeing multiple numbers

    What's fallen already
    What's to fall
    Total

So, perhaps the difference in snow maps, for the same locale, is one, or a mix of the three numbets

I was going to measure, but when I went back out, the snow pack had shrunk significantly. Theres a 3-4" packed layer on top. So thick that we couldnt make a snowman.

Just saw the weather channel, reporting 11 inches of snow on the ground in Keene nh. That's just east of WeldrDave's property.

Unsure of how much more to come.

My buddy cleared my driveway last night, before it turned to rain. He guessed it was 6 inches. He said he'd go back tomorrow night to clear whatever falls until then. I think I need to pick up some crown royal for him.

Don't trust the national weather services like weather channel or AccuWeather. The local channels actually attempt to get the forecast right.

DSCN2387.JPG DSCN2392.JPG I measured 12" in the afternoon after it packed some. Nice light snow, we had no rain. Supposed to get another 5" tonight, and 3" more tomorrow.

    Where are yours? :binoculars:

    Did I miss them?

I'd post pictures, but it's in the 50's here and not a flake to be found.

Yes it is pretty. That is about the only thing I like about winter. Looking out and getting a beautiful view while keeping warm with the stove. Lol

I use weather channels app because it gives me my current temp on the home screen of my phone. Their 10 day temps are usually close enough to give me an idea.

For anything beyond temps, I go to the local sources.
