Yes, the mfg stopped making all wheel drive. We sent our brand new gmc down to Pa to Quigley to have a 4wd put in. 12k later is back and nice!

Looks like we're saying bye-bye to the storm. Latest radar showed a steady movement from the SW toward us all afternoon. Now it is showing a retreat back the way it came. It came to within 25 miles south of us. They had been saying right along 2". I expect we won't see any.

The local weather here in NH says not much will be melting, and said it will be the start of the snowpack.

You must be watching Boston channels, my forecast says a couple days in the 40's with rain but that's a week out and could change. Cold weather till then 30's for highs and 20's and teens for lows. Lets hope it stays cold and doesn't get sloppy.

We've already got about a foot here now, let it snow...........I know what I'll be doing in the morning. The snowblower is gassed and was fired up yesterday afternoon, oh, and I filled the bird feeder too.

My forcast says low 30's for the rest of the week - which is about what I would expect for where Molly is picking from. There can be a 10-15* difference between my place and the Nashua area.

I'm only 30 miles north if Boston, so their weather is mostly mine

Something about freezing drizzle during the day today, then another 8" overnight. Winchester right in the 24" zone, WeldrDave!

I'm hearing 11" in Putney so far this morning. We have only 6" 40 minutes north of Bratt.

Well that was a PITA! The SnowTek refused to start, even with electric even though it started on Friday. Yes, I checked everything - oh well, on to the Craftman. Made a partial pass down the driveway and the chute blew off!?!?!? :hair::picard::jaw: WTF? Yes, I'm used to chit going wrong for me, but really? Took me about 1/2 an hour to figure out how to get that thing back on there - I actually started shoveling the driveway and about 1/2 way to the road needed a break so started reading the assembly directions to figure it out.

The good news was that the town did not salt the streets  so even though the berm was about 25" tall (snow blower is 21"), it wasn't as difficult to tackle as I had anticipated.

Took 2 hours to snow blow (cleared more area than normal in case this is the base that sticks around thru the season) and now my roof is starting to dump in earnest.

Sooo looking forward to round 2 - not.

Um, I still see 18"+ for Monadnock region. Not sure where you're seeing 24"? So far I've got maybe 8" of snow. Snowing pretty good right now but they are teeny-tiny flakes so shouldn't add up too quickly at this rate. Of course round two is coming, and really, when you are nestled between a couple of ski mountains, you never know what is actually going to happen.

Actually, looking at the map on WMUR, the Keen area is 10-18" instead of the 18"+ area. I hear (and see pictures) that Greenfield has 12.5" and New Ipswich is at 14.5" so far.

Looks like it is our turn to get some. As you can tell in one pic the ground is not frozen. High will be in low 30s lows in the 20s next 5 days. Only gonna get a couple of inches.
