Did your rainfall ever increase and get your area out of drought stage?

wildwest I understand your budget conscious and there’s not a Lotta sense in paying big money for pants for a guy that does roofing. I got some pretty good deals on fleece and flannel lined pants at Costco. $17 a pair, so you might want to check that out. I’m not paying big money for a pair of pants that I yeah in hours..

    Freudian slip?

Thanks! I never think of them because I've never had one. They have great reviews.

Well my Hawkeyes clinched a bowl game by beating the Cornhuskers yesterday. Was a good game. I'm happy.

It changed from rain to snow about 20-30 minutes ago. It's dumping huge flakes now. It's sticking to the grass, but not pavement.

Ice and rain here this morning.
Enough to make the roads a mess for now.

Supposed to get some snow overnight, we'll see.

    Pretty good day today.
Got up and it was raining. Quickly change to sunshine.
I had to dig a hole for one of my cat that passed in my lap last night. I believe she had a massive heart attack. A lot easier than my first cat that got smashed by a car. At least I had some closure time. Everything went well.
Brought some 3 year oak up to the house before the hail came. Not very big, but a lot of grape seed size stones twice.
Finished up my turkey soup that I started yesterday. Not my best effort, but acceptable.
Just took the Turkey Shepherd's Pie out of the oven. Never made it or had it before. Thought it would be a good way to use some turkey day leftovers. We'll see what it taste like.
