    Good morning everyone! All the weather guys I've heard say the snow doesn't start in the Winchester area until 1P, so that's where I'll be headed this morning. I left some maple rounds up by the drive last visit, so it will be a quick load. Last call until late spring!
    I got the rest of my black birch split and stacked yesterday, along with various other chores. I'm ready.
    I guess I'll be finding out about cutting in the snow. Someone told me you can cut right into snow, it doesn't hurt the chain. I have lots of skinny 5' trunks to cut. But, just snow shoveling and house cleaning for the next few days.

    Good afternoon everyone. No snow yet but this morning we did get sleet and it turned to rain. The plows did come through around 7am and just a few minutes ago. Might get some snow later. I use weather.com but don't think I trust them to much. Since my son was heading home from Iowa to Colorado I checked the weather and it showed only an inch or two. He then called home and checked with a couple of friends and they had gotten 20 inches. The day after he got home he sent me a pic of his buried car.
    Well stay safe with all this nasty stuff out there.
