Good morning y'all, Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Time to get up, get ,. Got a busy day. Got to cut some pecan for a guy to cook a pig on, of course he called late yesterday about needing it, then deliver a load of oak to a lady, the a hunting camp wants a trailer load of fire pit wood. That will take care of my culls.

Good morning all! Can't stop dipping into that honey.
All I really need to do this morning is make a dump run or two. A surprising amount of garden junk has been taken from my free pile on the front lawn. I don't have any qualms about disposing of the leftovers. Rain doesn't start until 4 or so. Not snow yet, that may happen Monday.
I'll try some new strategies for splitting my black birch, my conventional approach did not work. I'm not licked yet, but maybe it becomes another reason to buy a splitter. My husband says I can't have one until I get rid of more stuff out of the garage. He has a point.
Hope all your Thanksgiving prep goes well! I'm just doing the apps this year, after doing it all last year. Life is good.

I'm thankful for my personal liberty to do what I please. That's it, in a nutshell. A lot of my life, that wasn't the case. It's a great feeling.

Good morning everyone! I got swept up in consumer frenzy yesterday, and went Black Friday shopping. It wasn't bad. I got a lot of clothes for my grandson, and a few things for me and my husband. It was too windy to work outside, anyway.
Today I'll have to buckle down, 12" of snow on the way Sunday night into Monday. I'll move some dry maple closer to the basement bulkhead, and maybe split some more black birch. My husband has the snowblower ready to go! My son & family are flying back early Sunday afternoon, so they will squeak in just before the snow, I hope.

Missed you yesterday. Glad you had a good and safe day shopping. Folks do get crazy the day after being thankful for what they have...send us a picture of the snow... probably be in the upper 60's again today...90% chance of rain tomorrow.
